Reflections on Washita Battlefield National Historic Site

Washita (excerpt from http://www.nps.gov/waba)
The site protects and interprets the setting along the Washita River where Lt. Col. George A. Custer led the 7th U.S. Cavalry on a surprise dawn attack against the Southern Cheyenne village of Peace Chief Black Kettle on November 27, 1868. The attack was an important event in the tragic clash of cultures of the Indian Wars era.

************

God did promise the Promised Land of Israel to all Twelve Tribes of Israel, presently held in trust by Judah (the Jews). And Manifest Destiny declared these "Lands of the Covenant" (USA in Hebrew/Artzot Habrit) were designed to become the inheritance of Manasseh, the son of Joseph and other Israelites primarily, and the same goes for the British-Israelite company of nations, commonwealth of nations.

I've been out to our American Southwest recently, and I enjoyed a wonderful discussion with a descendant of Cheyenne chief Black Kettle at the Washita River site where he was killed with his wife, Medicine Woman Later - both having survived the Sandy Creek Massacre - and when I asked her where she thought the Indians came from, even mentioning how I write on forums I'm a Native American (since I was born here), she said from the Bering Strait and that they've heard they probably have relatives up there!

I honestly said how I refer to Indians as Beringian immigrants, and unlike some self-hating and self-righteous White people on the internet, she didn't have a problem with anything I said!

When she pronounced the Cheyenne name for her people for me, she mentioned how it means "the People." I said folks would have a fit if White people referred to themselves as "the People" or as La Raza (the Race); She agreed the Indians fought among themselves before and after the White tribes came that were militarily superior and conquered them all; She also agreed God will settle these issues and put us all in our proper place when Yeshua returns, after I mentioned I believe the Bible reveals God divided the nations, separated the peoples, for His Supreme Purpose.

****************

The impressive Washita National Park Visitor Center offers folks a chance to share Visitor Perspectives. This is what I wrote:

These "Lands of the Covenant" (Artzot Habrit is Hebrew for USA) were destined to become the inheritance of Manasseh, the son of Joseph. However, the way we received our birthright and blessing, like Jacob who deceived his father Isaac, hasn't always been so honorable.

My spirit grieves for injustices suffered by both Beringian immigrants (American Indians) and White Israelites (Anglo-Saxon-Celtic and Northwestern European peoples).

Coleman Theater (Miami, Oklahoma)

[The following are excerpts from the Coleman Theatre website]

Welcome to the Coleman Theatre Beautiful Miami, Oklahoma!

From opening day April 18, 1929 with a full house of 1,600, the Coleman Theatre Beautiful has never been "dark". Since the Coleman family donated the historic structure to the City of Miami in 1989, restoration and renovation of the theatre has become a "labor of love" in the community.

Begin your virtual tour in Act I - The Beginning and browse throughout this site to learn about our Coleman and how you can become a part of it. You may also request information about various events and programs or join the restoration effort. We're located at 103 N. Main St., Miami, Oklahoma 74354. Check out our Photo Gallery!

I was able to take a tour of the Coleman Theatre this summer during a trip out West. I was almost out of Oklahoma and wanted to mail some postcards, so at the post office in Miami, practically on the borders of Kansas and Missouri, I mailed them and asked what was there to see in Miami. They told me the Miami Theatre and pointed toward it just a block or so away. So away I went to go check it out. Here are a few of my pictures:

Blue Hole, New Mexico (Santa Rosa)

I had never heard of any Blue Hole in New Mexico until traveling from Sandia's Peak in Albuquerque through Santa Rosa (that seemed to have a loving and calm spirit of camaraderie) and asked a fellow at the local grocery store what there was to see in Santa Rosa and he suggested the Blue Hole first, and the Santa Rose Dam and Lake second (where I met two nice women who were in town for training or training others - something about the prison system). We have a Blue Hole in Ohio too.

My quick dip in the Blue Hole was refreshing and I had the whole place to myself, since the few kids who were hanging out for awhile took off, and I noticed walking around the perimeter of the site that somebody left their flip flops behind and somebody else left a quart of opened milk standing on the ground half full, even though a trash can was nearby. The place looks somewhat neglected but has plenty of potential. (I returned to thank the fellow but he was gone and left one of my Beyond Babylon cards - resembles my book cover, name, email and website addresses - with the girl still working who said she would give it to him with my thanks).

Treasure falls takes its name from Treasure Mountain. This area is rich in folklore and old stories of a large buried treasure somewhere on the mountain. Most accounts suggest that a fabulous treasure in gold was buried in the area after a group of Frenchmen were "waylaid" by either the Spanish or Indians. Whatever the circumstances, Treasure Falls offers the visitor a breathtaking treasure of scenery.

The falls can be seen by driving east on U.S. Hwy. 160 approximately 15.0 miles from the San Juan river bridge on the east side of Pagosa Springs. Along the highway there is a large parking area with a well maintained trail leading to the base of the falls. The walk up to the falls can be seen from the highway and there is a good opportunity to take photographs from the highway as well as from the overlook bridge at the base of the falls.

Size: 91,696 acres
(extends into Arizona & Utah)

Welcome to the Navajo Nation's Monument Valley Park. You are experiencing one of the most majestic - and most photographed - points on earth.

This great valley boasts sandstone masterpieces that tower at heights of 400 to 1,000 feet. framed by scenic clouds casting shadows that graciously roam the desert floor. The angle of the sun accents these graceful formations, providing scenery that is simply spellbinding.

The landscape overwhelms, not just by its beauty but also by its size. The fragile pinnacles of rock are surrounded by miles of mesas and buttes, shrubs, trees and windblown sand, all comprising the magnificent colors of the valley. All of this harmoniously combines to make Monument Valley a truly wondrous experience. Enjoy this beautiful land.

Weather.com - See 10 day forecast in Monument Valley, UT

HISTORY
Before human existence, the Park was once a vast lowland basin. For hundreds of millions of years, materials that eroded from the early Rock Mountains deposited layer upon layer of sediments which cemented a slow and gentle uplift generated by ceaseless pressure from below the surface, elevating these horizontal strata quite uniformly one to three miles above sea level. What was once a basin became a plateau.

Natural forces of wind and water that eroded the land spent the last 50 million years cutting in to and peeling away at the surface of the plateau.

The simple wearing down of altering layers of soft and hard rock slowly revealed the natural wonders of Monument Valley today.

From the visitor center, you see the world-famous panorama of the Mitten buttes and Merrick Butte. You can also purchase guided tours from Navajo tour operators, who will take you down into the valley in jeeps for a narrated cruise through these mythical formations. Places such as Ear of the Wind and other landmarks can only be accessed via guided tours. During the summer months, the visitor center also features Haskenneini Restaurant, which specializes in both native Navajo and American cuisines, and film/snack/souvenir shop. There are year-round restroom facilities. One mile before the center, numerous Navajo vendors sell arts, crafts, native food and souvenirs at roadside stands.

Traitor Shimon Peres to divide Jerusalem

Yitzhak Rabin murdered to empower Shimon Peres to divide Jerusalem?

"Israeli Penal Code – 1977, Section 97(b) A person who, with intent that any area be withdrawn from the sovereignty of the State or placed under the sovereignty of a foreign state, commits an act calculated to bring this about, is liable to life imprisonment or the death penalty."

Israel has this law on the books, but will they enforce it before it's too late? The worst offender is Shimon Peres. Yitzhak Rabin exposed Shimon Peres as "an indefatigable subversive." Yet, shamefully, Shimon Peres has survived to this day, protected by the corrupt Israeli oligarchy that are servants to their German-Jesuit masters, as the Jewish homeland continues to be dismembered, the Third Temple dismantled, and Jerusalem undermined!

Isaiah 3:12
As for My people, children are their oppressors, And women rule over them. O My people! Those who lead you cause you to err, And destroy the way of your paths.

Isaiah 9:16
For the leaders of this people cause them to err, And those who are led by them are destroyed.

Shimon Peres has collaborated with the bloody Roman Catholic Cult (aka the Babylonian Mystery religion) and Germans to transfer Israeli sovereignty over Jerusalem to them, fulfilling their dream that will become the world's worst nightmare!

Treacherous Israeli leaders deserve the death penalty! Apparently, too many Israelis (and Jews in self-imposed exile) prefer lies and delusions to the plain truth of the Bible and history. Clearly, the sheep are on their way to the slaughter the German-Jesuit EU prepares!

The Jerusalem Conspiracy

25 Tammuz 5768, 7/28/2008
I Didn't Want to Be Right: "The Jerusalem Conspiracy"
by Tamar Yonah

No, no, no, no... I didn't want to be right on this one. I really didn't. And what surprises me is that I thought we would have to wait longer to see if my theory was correct or not. I am talking about a conspiracy to get the people to agree, even to demand, the division of Jerusalem - for fear of their safety...
***************

Shalom Tamar,

Exposing the German-Vatican Plot to Occupy Jerusalem
The one time The Traveller did run a political piece, it ruffled feathers with the local authorities. In 'Will Jerusalem become an international city?' by American writer David Ben-Ariel, readers were warned about a German-Vatican plot to take over Jerusalem, urged to take back the Temple Mount and dislodge 'as symbols of foreign occupation' Al-Aqsa Mosque and the Dome of the Rock.

This is why Shimon Peres came to power.

Kol tov,
David

South Africa Robbed By Fear

"In times of universal deceit, telling the truth will be a revolutionary act." George Orwell, 1984

WHY I'M FLEEING SOUTH AFRICA
by Anne Paton (widow of Alan Paton)
(London Sunday Times)

I am leaving South Africa. I have lived here for 35 years, and I shall leave with anguish. My home and my friends are here, but I am terrified.

I know I shall be in trouble for saying so, because I am the widow of Alan Paton. Fifty years ago he wrote Cry, The Beloved Country. He was an unknown schoolmaster and it was his first book, but it became a bestseller overnight. It was eventually translated into more than 20 languages and became a set book in schools all over the world. It has sold more than 15 million copies and still sells 100,000 copies a year.

As a result of the startling success of this book, my husband became famous for his impassioned speeches and writings, which brought to the notice of the world the suffering of the black man under apartheid.

He campaigned for Nelson Mandela's release from prison and he worked all his life for black majority rule. He was incredibly hopeful about the new South Africa that would follow the end of apartheid, but he died in 1988, aged 85. I was so sorry he did not witness the euphoria and love at the time of the election in 1994. But I am glad he is not alive now. He would have been so distressed to see what has happened to his beloved country.

I love this country with a passion, but I cannot live here any more. I can no longer live slung about with panic buttons and gear locks. I am tired of driving with my car windows closed and the doors locked, tired of being afraid of stopping at red lights. I am tired of being constantly on the alert, having that sudden frisson of fear at the sight of a shadow by the gate, of a group of youths approaching - although nine times out of 10 they are innocent of harmful intent. Such is the suspicion that dogs us all.

Among my friends and the friends of my friends, I know of nine people who have been murdered in the past four years. An old friend, an elderly lady, was raped and murdered by someone who broke into her home for no reason at all; another was shot at a garage.

We have a saying, "Don't fire the gardener", because of the belief that it is so often an inside job - the gardener who comes back and does you in.

All this may sound like paranoia, but it is not without reason. I have been hijacked, mugged and terrorised. A few years ago my car was taken from me at gunpoint. I was forced into the passenger seat. I sat there frozen. But just as one man jumped into the back and the other fumbled with the starter I opened the door and ran away. To this day I do not know how I did this. But I got away, still clutching my handbag.

On May 1 this year I was mugged in my home at three in the afternoon. I used to live in a community of big houses with big grounds in the countryside. It's still beautiful and green, but the big houses have been knocked down and people have moved into fenced complexes like the one in which I now live. Mine is in the suburbs of Durban, but they're springing up everywhere.

That afternoon I came home and omitted to close the security door. I went upstairs to lie down. After a while I thought I'd heard a noise, perhaps a bird or something. Without a qualm I got up and went to the landing; outside was a man. I screamed and two other men appeared. I was seized by the throat and almost throttled; I could feel myself losing consciousness. My mouth was bound with Sellotape and I was threatened with my own knife (Girl Guide issue from long ago) and told: "If you make a sound, you die." My hands were tied tightly behind my back and I was thrown into the guest room and the door was shut. They took all the electronic equipment they could find, except the computer. They also, of course, took the car.

A few weeks later my new car was locked up in my fenced carport when I was woken by its alarm in the early hours of the morning. The thieves had removed the radio, having cut through the padlocks in order to bypass the electric control on the gates.

The last straw came a few weeks ago, shortly before my 71st birthday. I returned home in the middle of the afternoon and walked into my sitting room. Outside the window two men were breaking in. I retreated to the hall and pressed the panic alarm. This time I had shut the front door on entering. By now I had become more cautious. Yet one of the men ran around the house, jumped over the fence and tried to batter down the front door. Meanwhile, his accomplice was breaking my sitting- room window with a hammer. This took place while the sirens were shrieking, which was the frightening part. They kept coming, in broad daylight, while the alarm was going. They knew that there had to be a time lag of a few minutes before help arrived - enough time to dash off with the television and video recorder. In fact, the front-door assailant was caught and taken off to the cells.

Recently I telephoned to ask the magistrate when I would be called as a witness. She told me she had let him off for lack of evidence. She said that banging on my door was not an offence, and how could I prove that his intent was hostile?

I have been careless in the past - razor wire and electric gates give one a feeling of security. Or at least, they did. But I am careless no longer.

No fence - be it electric or not - no wall, no razor wire is really a deterrent to the determined intruder. Now my alarm is on all the time and my panic button hung round my neck. While some people say I have been unlucky, others say: "You are lucky not to have been raped or murdered." What kind of a society is this where one is considered "lucky" not to have been raped or murdered - yet?

A character in Cry, The Beloved Country says: "I have one great fear in my heart, that one day when they are turned to loving they will find we are turned to hating." And so it has come to pass. There is now more racial tension in this country than I have ever known.

But it is not just about black-on-white crime. It is about general lawlessness. Black people suffer more than the whites. They do not have access to private security firms, and there are no police stations near them in the townships and rural areas. They are the victims of most of the hijackings, rapes and murders. They cannot run away like the whites, who are streaming out of this country in their thousands.

President Mandela has referred to us who leave as "cowards" and says the country can do without us. So be it. But it takes a great deal of courage to uproot and start again. We are leaving because crime is rampaging through the land. The evils that beset this country now are blamed on the legacy of apartheid. One of the worst legacies of that time is that of the Bantu Education Act, which deliberately gave black people an inferior education.

The situation is exacerbated by the fact that criminals know that their chances of being caught are negligible; and if they are caught they will be free almost at once. So what is the answer? The government needs to get its priorities right. We need a powerful, well-trained and well-equipped police force.

Recently there was a robbery at a shopping centre in the afternoon. A call to the police station elicited the reply: "We have no transport." "Just walk then," said the caller; the police station is about a two-minute sprint from the shop in question. "We have no transport," came the reply again. Nobody arrived.

There is a quote from my husband's book: "Cry, the beloved country, for the unborn child that is the inheritor of our fear. Let him not love the earth too deeply. Let him not laugh too gladly when the water runs through his fingers, nor stand too silent when the setting sun makes red the veld with fire. Let him not be too moved when the birds of his land are singing, nor give too much of his heart to a mountain or a valley. For fear will rob him of all if he gives too much."

What has changed in half a century? A lot of people who were convinced that everything would be all right are disillusioned, though they don't want to admit it.

The government has many excellent schemes for improving the lot of the black man, who has been disadvantaged for so long. A great deal of money is spent in this direction. However, nothing can succeed while people live in such fear. Last week, about 10km from my home, an old couple were taken out and murdered in the garden. The wife had only one leg and was in a wheelchair. Yet they were stabbed and strangled - for very little money. They were the second old couple to be killed last week. It goes on and on, all the time; we have become a killing society.

As I prepare to return to England, a young man asked me the other day, in all innocence, if things were more peaceful there. "You see," he said, "I know of no other way of life than this. I cannot imagine anything different." What a tragic statement on the beloved country today.

"Because the white man has power, we too want power," says Msimangu. "But when a black man gets power, when he gets money, he is a great man if he is not corrupted. I have seen it often. He seeks power and money to put right what is wrong, and when he gets them, why, he enjoys the power and the money. Now he can gratify his lusts, now he can arrange ways to get white man's liquor. I see only one hope for our country, and that is when white men and black men, desiring neither power nor money, but desiring only the good of their country, come together to work for it.

I have one great fear in my heart, that one day when they are turned to loving, they will find we are turned to hating.

German-Jesuit threat to Europe

Re: That Old-Time Religion In Europe
David, do you believe it's not a threat?

Quote of your text :

"the alleged threat of Islam to Europe"

Yes, I believe the Islamofascists are definitely a threat to Europe and the world. For clarification purposes, let it be known that quote is from the author of "That Old-Time Religion In Europe," Robert Misik.

That being said, I consider the German-Jesuit threat to Europe greater than the threat of Islam. The Islamoonies are useful idiots for the grand design of the German-Jesuits, playing into their hands, and the imminent Muslim provocation against Europe will trigger a blitzkrieg response from Europe, bringing all the pieces of the puzzle together.

Kibbutz Ein Harod

My visit to Kibbutz Ein Harod

By Ted Belman

Mike Packard, a longtime friend of Israpundit, invited me to spend Shabbat with him and his family in Kibbutz Ein Harod. I gratefully accepted. So on Friday I hopped on a bus in Jerusalem headed for Beit Shean.

Toda raba Ted for sharing your experiences, even though they brought back wistful memories. Like Yamit, I also used to live in the area (a two month sojourn as a volunteer) on Kibbutz Reshafim with Mount Gilboa in our backyard. It was so peaceful.

Here are a few unedited accounts (the good, the bad and the ugly - raw - but honest and accurate)…

Let My People Pray!

We would like to bring to the attention of all to whom the sanctity of the Temple Mount is dear to their heart: An online petition is currently circulating, calling for the government of Israel to allow Jews freedom of worship on the Mount. We strongly encourage every individual who receives this newsletter to sign the petition. Click here. Please forward the petition to all of like mind!

Will the pope act like Belshazzar or Cyrus? Will Rome learn from history and receive instruction from the Bible or harden their hearts and be destroyed like pharaoh and Babylon? A House of Prayer For All Peoples? Jewish guards prevent Christians and Jews from exercising their religious right to pray on the Temple Mount? That's right! Only Muslims have unlimited access to Judaism's most holy site. Only the Koran is permitted within. The Tanach (Jewish Scripture, known to much of the world as the "Old Testament") and Christian Scriptures (the New Testament) are forbidden. Yet Israel claims to respect the religious rights of all people. Major Upheaval in Israel? Will an EARTHQUAKE shake Israel to its foundations and rock the world? Would the destruction of the Western/Wailing Wall and the demolition of the "Dome of the Rock" and Al-Aksa mosques—by an ACT OF GOD—serve further notice that it's time to build the Temple? Third Temple Coming Soon to Jerusalem! "And let them make me a Sanctuary that I may dwell among them" (Ex. 25:8). This holy command in the Scriptures seems clear enough, so what's the problem? Why has Israel tolerated Jerusalem’s "abomination of desolation" — a Temple Mount without a Temple? Why haven't the religious leaders encouraged the people to do what they can in fulfilling this mitzva? The Temple of God in Holy Jerusalem Paul, speaking of the imminent Third Temple, the holy TEMPLE OF GOD (the Temple of God - not just of the Jews or any other conspiracy theory that contradicts Scripture), that Europe's wannabe divine emperor will pollute, coveting it since Satan knows (even if some religious folks don't) it is the TEMPLE OF GOD... Jews Must Demand Rights to Temple Mount During a 1995 Root and Branch lecture in Jerusalem, Professor Nahum Rakover, author and then Deputy Attorney General of Israel, publicly agreed with me that it isn't illegal for Christians or Jews to pray upon the Temple Mount, even though it is forcibly prevented by the police. The Issue of the Temple Mount The common knowledge of our time is that the vast majority of Rabbis of this generation have prohibited the Jewish people from entering the Temple Mount (Har HaBayit), the holiest site in Judaism. The Temple Mount is the site of where the Beit HaMikdash (the Jewish Temple) once stood and the place where the Moslems have erected one mosque, the al-Aqsa and a site of pilgrimage, the Dome of the Rock. Restore Israeli Sovereignty Over Temple Mount The Wakf, the militant Muslim authority that oversees Jerusalem's Temple Mount, Judaism's holiest site and Islam's alleged third holiest site (following Mecca and Medina) continue to show blatant disregard for Jewish, Christian and biblical history and non-Muslim sensitivities. Where's the Temple On the Temple Mount? Something's missing. Rome is synonymous with the Vatican, Mecca with the Kaaba, and Jerusalem's known for its Western Wall. But why should we stand before the wall, letting it obstruct our vision, when we could be praying in a Temple? Why should Jews continue to bow before an illegitimate Gentile decree that tells them where to pray? (Isaiah 10:1). The Vatican Must Return the Temple Treasures The Jews have prayed for 2,000 years to again see the Temple upon the Temple Mount. It's past time for prayers alone: ACTION is necessary to put faith into practice! G-d Doesn't Listen to Jewish Prayers at the Western Wall Gershon Salomon warned Israel and its leadership that as long as the shameful situation on the Temple Mount continues, and as long as they do not obey the call of G-d, peace will not come to the land. The enemies of Israel will continue to desire her land and will pressure those in power to divide it. Obedience to the call of G-d will bring peace, all of Israel's enemies will be removed and no one will wish to divide or desire the land. Why Edward Abington, Jr. Must Be Investigated! "The American Diplomat in Arafat's Corner," published in The Jerusalem Report, came as no surprise to me. It was referring to Edward Abington, Jr., the United States' former consul general in Jerusalem who is now "guiding the Palestinians through the labyrinths of Washington. And his firm is being paid $2.25 million for his expertise." Israel's Unjust Deportation of David Ben-Ariel As a Christian-American member of the Temple Mount Faithful Movement, I had been privileged to participate in their legal demonstrations during my 10-month stay in Jerusalem awaiting dual citizenship. Israeli television often showed me with my Jewish friends carrying Israeli flags throughout the Old City. Blow Up the Mosques or An Expired Visa? Once again, an attempt to spread DISinformation about my unjust deportation from Israel, only provides me with another opportunity to clearly state my case and continue to highlight the plight of the Temple Mount suffering under a Nazi-Muslim occupation... From Toledo to Jerusalem You could say I have a God-given love for the Jews and the nation of Israel (Isaiah 62:6-7). That sacred bond has been strengthened over the years by the fact that I've been blessed to have lived all over Israel, getting to know its land and people quite well. Dangerous Ideas? During my brief appearance before Israel's High Court, the prosecution charged that I hold "dangerous ideas." I suppose the short-sighted prosecution would ban the Bible if he could since it contains the "dangerous ideas" that millions believe in! What are those "dangerous ideas?" American Detained in Jerusalem's Russian Compound Nobody arrested me. I was detained when I faithfully reported to the police office at 9 a.m. Monday morning, January 9, 1996 (day before my birthday) the day after The Jerusalem Post published on their front page an article shedding light on what they were doing in the dark: "GSS Seeks to Deport American Citizen for Plot to Blow Up Al Aksa Mosque."
